Fromm Family Foods has announced a nationwide recall of two canned dog food products over concerns that they may contain metal contaminants.
The recall affects Turkey Pate Wet and Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pate Wet, both of which carry a Best Buy date of March 2029.
According to the recall information, the products are being removed from the market because of the potential presence of metal contamination. Pet owners who have purchased either affected product are advised to check the label and Best Buy date before feeding it to their dogs.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled products.
Consumers who have the affected dog food should discontinue feeding it to their pets and follow Fromm Family Foods’ guidance regarding disposal or return of the product.
Pet owners should also monitor their dogs for any unusual symptoms and contact a veterinarian if they have concerns about their pet’s health.
