USBC President Represents American Black Business in London, UK at the Entrepreneurship Exchange 2023

Phoenix – U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) President & CEO, Ron Busby Sr. recently visited London for the Entrepreneurship Exchange 2023 (EX23) hosted by the Small Business Roundtable.

The event was a dynamic gathering of private sector leaders, entrepreneurs, and government officials who came together in person and online for lively discussions on policy issues impacting entrepreneurship, industry trends, economic development, and the future of small businesses.

During his visit, Busby participated as a featured speaker on the “How Entrepreneurship Can Create Wealth For All Communities” panel, where he shared his insights on how Black entrepreneurship is key if we are to ever level the playing field in terms of inequality and the wealth gap because entrepreneurship allows individuals to increase wealth through business ownership and growth. “I am honored to have been part of EX23 and to have shared my perspective on the important role that entrepreneurship plays in creating wealth for all communities but particularly Black communities around the world,” said Ron Busby, President & CEO of USBC. “This event provided a valuable opportunity for USBC to exchange ideas with leaders from across the globe and continue to advocate for policies that support the growth and success of Black businesses.”

The plenary focused on recent trends in inequality and how small businesses and entrepreneurship can play a role in reducing inequality, as well as what policies would be beneficial towards this end. The event was made possible through the tremendous partnership of Enterprise Nation, the Entrepreneurs Network, the Federation of Small Businesses, Minority Supplier Development UK (MSDUK), and OutBritain, and for the generous partnership and sponsorship of Intuit and Gusto.
