Phoenix – After the playoff debacle last year against this Dallas Mavs team where Doncic scored 35 points, Spencer Dinwiddie added 30 and the Mavericks blitzed the Suns with a 123-90 knockout, advancing to the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2011.
The Suns did pull out a close home win against the Mavs on October 19th at home. But anytime we take a loss against this team it brings back haunting memories. Ayton led the way with 20 points while Bokker had a Sub-par game with 11 points on 4 – 13 shooting. other chipped in to take up the slack. Dallas shot 48% from the three-point line while hitting a higher percentage of their free throws.
I wish Ayton would take these games a little more personally. I know he hears the chatter about drafting him over Luka Docic in the 2018 draft. Ayton going first and Luka going third. Maybe this will light a fire under the team to make sure the Suns come out on top.
