Sen. Mitch McConnell Released From Physical Therapy Rehab After Fall

Washington – Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) was released from inpatient physical therapy and returned home 2½ weeks after a fall that left him with a concussion and a broken rib, he said on Saturday.
McConnell Is Home After Injury Rehabilitation – “I want to thank everyone for all the kind wishes sincerely,” Mr. McConnell said in a Saturday statement.” 
The Senator’s hospitalization fuels retirement rumors, the incident has bolstered speculation the Senate’s top Republican may retire before completing his six-year term. Nothing has come out of the McConnell camp. But, we will keep an eye on the situation.
Addison Mitchell McConnell III is an American politician and retired attorney serving his seventh term as the senior United States senator from Kentucky, which he has held since 1985.
