PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man found wounded outside an apartment in the 1100 block of East Hatcher Road on Oct. 29.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired shortly after 11 p.m. and found Arthur Kenneth Brown Jr. lying in front of an apartment with at least one gunshot wound, according to police. Phoenix Fire Department crews took Brown to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives took over the investigation. The Office of the Medical Examiner took custody of Brown’s remains pending a postmortem examination.
