After a July lull, the midterm primary calendar is heating back up in August.
Six states will hold their primaries next week, including some of the most consequential races for November. Republicans are hoping to avert potential disaster in ruby-red Missouri, where disgraced former Gov. Eric Greitens could threaten the party’s hold on a precious Senate seat.
