(USBC) is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Candace Waterman, President & CEO of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), a long-time supporter and ally of the organization. Candace’s unwavering dedication to advancing the interests of women in business and public policy has left an indelible mark on the BIPOC community.
“Candace Waterman’s passing is a massive loss, not only for WIPP but for the entire business advocacy landscape,” stated Ron Busby, Sr., President & CEO of USBC. “Her passion, intellect, and relentless commitment to empowering women-owned businesses have made a profound impact on countless lives. Candace was a true visionary, and her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us as we work towards a more equitable and inclusive future.”
Candace Waterman played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between WIPP and USBC, driving initiatives that amplified the voices of underrepresented entrepreneurs and advocating for policies that fostered economic growth. Her advocacy, leadership, and tireless efforts will be sorely missed.
