Should we have sympathy for Brittney Griner?

In 2020, American basketball star Brittney Griner felt the National Anthem had no place in the WNBA. Today, trapped in a Russian prison, she seems to have a renewed sense of patriotism as she petitions President Joe Biden to intervene after her arrest on drug possession charges.
