Shareef O’Neal reacts to his Summer League spell with Lakers

Against his father’s advice, Shareef O’Neal left college to test the NBA waters. The 22-year-old forward/center was given a chance by the Lakers to showcase his skills in the Summer League.

Although he did produce massive number — quite the contrary — O’Neal is happy with the experience and is looking forward to what the future holds for him.

Shareef took to Twitter to thank the Lakers for the opportunity. “Thank you LAKERS for the opportunity!????❤️ thank everyone who supported too??❤️,” he tweeted.

“Man I’m so proud ! Can’t wait to see where the journey takes me! One step at a time ?? awesome experience,” he added in another tweet.
