PHOENIX, AZ – Aftershock, the bass-fueled sub-brand from leading independent promoter Relentless Beats, is bringing the noise back to the desert this summer with Shaq’s Bass All-Stars, headlined by none other than the Big Diesel himself — Shaquille O’Neal, aka DJ Diesel. The event is set to ignite the Rawhide Event Center in Chandler, AZ, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, promising an explosive night of dubstep, house, trap, and hip hop.

Joining DJ Diesel on this heavyweight lineup are Ghastly Presents: GHENGAR, Jkyl & Hyde, and a b2b set from RZRKT and CELO, with one more special guest still to be announced.

In the lead-up to the show, rising DJs will have the chance to earn their spot on the main stage through the Shaq’s Bass All-Stars DJ Competition, held May 9 at Sunbar in Tempe, AZ. Contestants can submit their SoundCloud or Mixcloud sets online for a shot at the opening slot. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Childhelp, a nonprofit organization committed to preventing and treating child abuse and neglect nationwide.
