Russell Westbrook is desperate to leave the Lakers, a new report suggests. According to Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson of Bally Sports, the former NBA MVP had his former agent Thad Foucher, with whom he parted ways recently, begging Nets general manager Sean Marks directly everyday to come to Brooklyn.
Foucher, for his part, was of the opinion that the best option for his former long-time client was to remain in Los Angeles and to accept his new role as a started. This difference was ‘irreconcilable,’ according to the agent.
This new report adds more confusion to the whole Westbrook saga as it was reported recently that he had a call with LeBron James and Anthony Davis to make sure the Big 3 is on the same page. However, the timeline of the events is not clear.
