The Heat are reportedly making a serious effort to land Kevin Durant. It helps that Miami, along with Phoenix, are his top two preferred landing spots.
However, the packages that the Heat is willing to offer are not exactly what the Nets are expecting in return for the two-time NBA champion. It has been reported that Brooklyn is not interested in packages that don’t include Bam Adebayo.
According to Barry Jackson, the Nets aren’t tempted by a package which is led by Tyler Herro. He further adds that the Heat’s chances to land Durant ‘hinge on Durant insisting to be moved and to only Miami/ Phoenix AND encouraging other teams not to pursue him, which hasn’t happened.’
This past season Herro averaged 20.7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 32.6 minutes per game. He started just 10 of his 66 regular season games for the Heat.
