Magic Johnson on Karl Malone not wanting him to play in NBA because he had HIV

During his appearance on the CLUB SHAY SHAY podcast, the Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson was asked how his life would’ve been different if he had not been diagnosed with HIV in 1991.

Johnson reveals USA Dream Team teammate Karl Malone as one of the many hesitant to see Magic back in the NBA.

Magic’s response to Karl: “I just played with you [Karl Malone] on the Dream Team, we practiced against each other every single day … now you don’t want to play against me?”
