The Los Angeles Lakers are attempting to be active again on trade talks with the Indiana Pacers about Buddy Hield.
As relayed by Dave McMenamin of ESPN, both sides have reengaged with conversations regarding a potential deal revolving around the sharpshooter.
Hield has been a consistent, long rumored interest of the Lakers from the previous years, as the franchise almost traded for him in the previous offseason.
The club then shifted its focus and ultimately landed Russell Westbrook in a blockbuster pact with the Washington Wizards.
He still played the mid-part of last season with the Sacramento Kings, until being traded with Tyrese Haliburton to the Indiana Pacers for Domantas Sabonis.
Hield goes off for an average of 15.6 points, 4.4 boards and 2.8 dimes in his combined stay in Sac-town and Indy this year.
