
Aussie second-year guard Josh Giddey took a leave on the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Sunday road game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to sprained right ankle, via ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.
Giddey rolled his ankle midway through the third period. He eventually headed to the locker room and was announced ineligible to return.
Giddey dropped 10 points, five assists and two rebounds in 22 minutes before leaving the match, as OKC ultimately fell to the Wolves, 116-106.
