The Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum was interviewed following Boston’s 126-120 win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday. The team was on the second leg of a back-to-back and has now notched their third straight win to kick off the season.
Tatum led all scorers with a stellar performance, dropping 40 points on 14-of-21 shooting, 8-of-9 from the line along with 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks, and 1 steal.
On Derrick White’s great performance, Tatum said he came up big and that “I tell him all the time I wish he would be a little more selfish.”
On all of the MVP chatter after his hot start, Tatum said “All I’m concerned about is getting back to the championship and getting over that hump.”
