Facundo Campazzo finally made his debut with the Mavericks after his work visa issues have been resolved. The 31-year-old Argentinean point guard scored 3 points and dished out 2 assists in 13 minutes of play.
Dallas ended up losing to the Pelicans by two points (111-113). Before the game Mavs’ head coach Jason Kidd talked about what Campazzo brings to his team.
“The way he plays [fast] is something that we need, we haven’t had. … Another guy we trust and maybe we can also play him late [and] being able to use Luka in different situations,” Kidd said, per Callie Caplan.
