Fueled by East Meets West Presents (EMW), Mochakk Calling: NYC is touching down June 21, 2025, for a special open-air show at the historic industrial waterfront venue Brooklyn Army Terminal.
Building off of the two-day Chris Lake: Black Book on the Pier shows from last summer, the venue has become the new quintessential summertime open-air sonic experience set against the dramatic views of the New York City skyline and this year sound tracked by one of the most in-demand dance music artists.
Growing up amid the skating and hip-hop culture, Mochakk found his musical start as a beat maker before eventually pivoting to electronic music. After discovering house music, he became a dedicated student of the genre and used that to his advantage as he progressively made waves in his home country of Brazil, both as a meticulous producer and mesmerizing performer.
Coming to prominence behind the huge single ‘Jealous’ with Circoloco Records, alongside his killer remixes of Groove Armada’s ‘Superstylin’’ and Diplo’s ‘Express Yourself.’ Mochakk has been an avant-garde curator of culture-forward events, including his Tricks And Tracks event series, merging his love of skateboarding with electronic music and his Mochakk Calling events, which have sold out at every worldwide location.
Special guests and support for Mochakk Calling: NYC include high-energy, genre-blurring DJ Boring b2b acid house auteur DJ Seinfeld, Berlin house DJ Lovefoxy, and more. Expect an immaculate mix of casual warehouse vibes and a summertime soiree at this open-air event.
