Portland Trail Blazers franchise man Damian Lillard took an untimely exit on his team’s 119-98 defeat against the Miami Heat on Wednesday because of a strained right calf.
Lillard took an exit with five minutes remaining in the third frame, limping in pain and went on to the locker room.
The six-time All-star was ultimately announced out for the remainder of the match, as he finished with 22 points and two assists in 26 minutes.
The Blazers now have taken their first loss of the season.
