Pistons’ rookie point guard Cade Cunningham completed his first season in the NBA. He faced plenty of stars in his position. Recently the 20-year-old player was asked about who is his favorite matchup in the league.
“Favorite guy to matchup with… Chris Paul was really fun to play against just ‘cuz he is always making the right read,” he said. “I feel like watching him, and being on the opposite side of it, I feel like I learned a lot in those games. So, I’d say Chris Paul.”
During his rookie year Cunningham averaged 17.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 32.6 minutes per game for Detroit.
