Horror, Returning Favorites Drive This Week’s Streaming Rankings

This week’s rankings show how quickly streaming demand can shift based on new releases, theatrical activity and renewed public attention around older films.

Horror and darker thrillers dominate much of the movie Top 10, led by Backrooms and Obsession. At the same time, films such as Promising Young Woman and Practical Magic demonstrate how outside events and franchise activity can bring established titles back into the streaming conversation.

Television viewing is more evenly distributed, with prestige dramas, comedies, thrillers and action series represented throughout the Top 10. Apple TV’s Ted Lasso and Slow Horses both landing in the top four also gives the service two of the week’s highest-ranked shows.

JustWatch’s Streaming Charts track viewing interest across streaming services and provide a snapshot of what U.S. audiences are searching for and watching across major platforms.
