Atlanta fans will receive the world’s first opportunity to shop the collection, with RZA scheduled to make a special appearance at G-STAR’s Lenox Square store.
ATLANTA — G-STAR and Wu-Tang Clan are bringing the worlds of hip-hop and denim together for a multiyear fashion collaboration—and Atlanta will be the first city to shop it.
The debut collection launches September 20 exclusively at the G-STAR store inside Lenox Square, giving local fans early access ahead of its global release later this year.
Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA is scheduled to make a special appearance at the store from 1 to 3 p.m. to celebrate the launch and allow fans to preview the limited collection in person.
The collaboration arrives during Wu-Tang Clan’s visit to Atlanta for its headlining performance at the Shaky Knees Festival, taking place September 18–20 at Piedmont Park.

Wu-Tang Style Meets G-STAR Denim
The partnership is designed to incorporate Wu-Tang Clan’s visual and cultural identity directly into G-STAR’s denim construction rather than simply placing the group’s logo on existing products.
The debut drop features G-STAR’s signature denim washes and silhouettes reworked with Wu-Tang-inspired details. The collection also includes outerwear and knitwear.
“Wu-Tang built a world out of nothing but skill, code, and imagination—that’s the same discipline behind every pair of jeans we make,” G-STAR CEO Rob Schilder said. “Atlanta feels like the right place to introduce that to the people.”
For RZA, the partnership reflects the balance of toughness and refinement that has shaped Wu-Tang Clan’s identity for more than three decades.
“G-STAR is on the scene representing the rugged, mixed with swag and elegance, a style that completely fits Wu-Tang because we’ve always represented urban ruggedness yet elevated swag,” RZA said.
Bil Bertini, senior vice president and head of licensing and brand partnerships at Iconic Artists Group, described the collaboration as “a perfect alignment of G-STAR’s raw denim heritage and Wu-Tang’s raw, unbridled energy.”
Collaboration First Teased in Amsterdam
Fans received an early preview of the partnership in March when members of Wu-Tang Clan wore a limited-edition tour jacket during a performance in Amsterdam.
The jacket was sourced and embroidered in the Netherlands and offered the first public glimpse of the craftsmanship and creative approach behind the broader collection.
Following its Atlanta debut, the full collaboration is scheduled to roll out worldwide in November. The release will coincide with Wu-Tang Day on November 9 and the group’s November 14 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Wu-Tang Clan is officially part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026, joining a class that includes MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Sade, Fela Kuti, Luther Vandross, Rick Rubin, and others.
Additional releases are planned for 2027, including new capsules designed for women.
From ‘36 Chambers’ to Global Fashion
Formed in Staten Island, New York, during the early 1990s, Wu-Tang Clan changed hip-hop with its gritty production, martial-arts imagery, extensive vocabulary, and unconventional business model.
The collective includes RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, and Cappadonna, as well as the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
Its 1993 debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), introduced enduring songs including “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Protect Ya Neck.” Beyond music, the group developed a cultural empire spanning clothing, film, television, books, and video games.
That history makes fashion a natural extension of the Wu-Tang brand—and Atlanta fans will be the first to see how the group’s style has been rebuilt through the language of G-STAR denim.
