Phoenix, AZ – A strange and startling traffic incident unfolded Monday afternoon in North Phoenix when a white pickup truck ended up perched on top of a silver sedan near West Northern Avenue.
According to a citizen report filed at 12:51 p.m. MST, the unusual crash occurred at 2444 W. Northern Ave. Witnesses described seeing the pickup truck elevated at an angle, with its rear wheels resting directly on the roof and hood of the smaller vehicle.
Photos and video from the scene show the pickup truck balanced precariously on top of the sedan, creating a surreal image that quickly drew attention from passersby. How the truck became lodged in such a position remains unclear.
Authorities have not yet released official details regarding what led to the collision, whether any injuries were reported, or if other vehicles were involved.
