Ja Morant garnered a lot of attention on social media after talking about Michael Jordan while talking with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report. Ja first said he wished he played in MJ’s generation and would have liked to have played against him. Then, the Memphis Grizzlies’ star followed it up by saying quote, “I would have cooked him. I would have cooked him, too. Nobody got more confidence than 12.”
A sports analyst and former American football tight end for the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens, Shannon Sharpe, reacts to Ja’s comments: “Is Ja Morant a chef? Because that’s the only cooking he’s doing on Michael Jordan… I like confidence, but sometimes confidence is lunacy, utterly ridiculousness… Cmon Ja, let’s be real, it’s MJ.”
