It has been reported that the Jazz and the Knicks have started talks regarding a trade that would send Donovan Mitchell to New York.
Even though the Knicks are thought to have enough assets to make this deal work, it will not be a quick process, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
As reported by Tommy Beer, Charania expects the two teams to work on a deal for two-to-three weeks or even the rest of this offseason.
This past season the 25-year-old shooting guard averaged 25.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 33.8 minutes per game.
