According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has agreed on a two-year, $30 million extension with the Denver Nuggets. Caldwell-Pope arrived in a trade with Washington for Will Barton and Monte Morris two weeks ago.
KCP was entering the final year of his deal at $14 million in 2022-2023. In Caldwell-Pope’s first full season with the Washington Wizards, he started 77 games, averaging 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
