The Dallas Mavericks have signed second-round pick Jaden Hardy to a three-year, $4.8 million deal which turns Hardy into a restricted free agent after his third year.
“What excites me is just being able to play at this level – it is something I’ve always dreamed of. Growing up, watching the summer leagues, I always pictured myself being out there. Now that I’m out there, I really want to go out there and prove to everybody who I am,” Hardy is eager to prove himself in Las Vegas.
The 20-year-old averaged 19.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 37.6% shooting from the field in 24 games last season.
