LeBron James talked about the attitude of his teammates that gives him sleepless nights on the latest episode of The Shop. The four-time NBA champion threw shade on some of his teammates implying that they don’t share the ‘win or bust’ mentality that he has.
While not giving out names of those teammates, James made it clear that he is frustrated by their attitude as they don’t winning as seriously as he does.
Some speculated that his comment was directed at Russell Westbrook. The former NBA MVP, who struggled this past season, told media on numerous occasions that basketball is not all that important to him.
Via Darryn Albert of Larry Brown Sports:
“I’m obsessed with win or bust,” said James. “What makes me have sleepless nights is when you don’t have everyone that feels the same way on your club.
“It’s time when I wish I was a tennis player or a golfer where it was literally like, ‘Look in the mirror, motherf–ker. It’s you versus you,’” James added.
