It was back in April 2021 when James Wiseman last played in an NBA game. The 21-year-old center missed the entire 2021-2022 due to a knee injury, but is close to completing his recovery.
Recently he confirmed previous reports about him intending to play for the Warriors in Summer League. The former number two draft picks plans to play on Sunday.
“I cannot wait to go out there and just play the game of basketball again. I’ve been through a lot of tough times,” Wiseman said, per Madeline Kenney.
During his rookie year Wiseman averaged 11.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 21.4 minutes per game for Golden State.
