In this VladTV clip, former NBA player Eddy Curry talked about getting traded from the New York Knicks in 2009 as part of the trade that brought Carmelo Anthony over to New York from the Denver Nuggets.
He recalled eventually landing with the Miami Heat where he played alongside the Big 3 – LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh.
According to Eddy, his time with the Heat was the time he felt it his duty to stay ready and contribute even if he wasn’t always guaranteed minutes:
