How ChatGTP Will Change the World

ChatGTP has been the current societal obsession, and its popularity will have many effects on the world mainly in areas of academics and industry.

ChatGTP has been found to be “Indistinguishable from humans,” when texts are analyzed. The study also touched on how it can create new data from the patterns it recognizes which will fundamentally change how research is done. The ideal outcome of ChatGTP is that it becomes a helper to humans in the workforce and not a competitor. There is controversy on whether or not AI can be creative or give original ideas, and so far, ChatGTP has provided some rudimentary originality which gives hope to what future AI can do, or insight terror into artists and other creatives.

Another possible negative effect of ChatGTP is that it may make the population more intellectually lazy with ChatGTP being able to brainstorm, create initial drafts, and create logical structures. This is especially a concern for students who need to learn the logical steps of math and language and need to learn to brainstorm themselves. AI can be fine for helping busy people bypass a few steps, but children need to learn the steps before they start taking shortcuts for proper intellectual development to occur.
