[Washington, D.C.] September 16, 2025 – The U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) proudly recognized Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) as its 2025 Advocate of the Year during the organization’s National Conference at the historic former BET Campus in Washington, D.C.
Congresswoman Crockett has quickly become one of the most dynamic and unapologetic voices on Capitol Hill. Since taking office in 2023, she has distinguished herself as a fearless defender of democracy, a champion for economic equity, and a relentless advocate for Black communities across the country. Her leadership roles on the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees underscore her ability to hold power accountable and drive progress on behalf of those she represents.
“Congresswoman Crockett’s commitment to truth and justice reflects the very best of public service. She has set a new standard for advocacy in our nation’s capital, and we are honored to celebrate her as our 2025 Advocate of the Year,” said Ron Busby, Sr., President & CEO of the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc.
The award was presented during the 2025 USBC National Conference, where leaders from across the country convened to advance opportunities for Black business owners and entrepreneurs.
As part of USBC’s ongoing commitment to spotlighting rising leaders, Congresswoman Crockett’s example will also be acknowledged later this year during the U.S. Black Chambers Power 50 Under 40 celebration, which highlights the next generation of Black business and community leaders.
This recognition underscores USBC’s mission to elevate trailblazers who are shaping a more inclusive economy and amplifying voices that push America toward its highest ideals.
