PHOENIX, AZ — A man was critically injured in an officer-involved shooting Friday evening near 35th Avenue and Osborn Road after Phoenix police responded to a domestic violence call at an apartment complex, according to authorities.
Police say officers were dispatched around 6:20 p.m. on March 13, 2026, after a 911 caller reported a possible domestic violence situation. When officers arrived, they encountered a man armed with a rifle inside the complex. Officers gave commands for the man to stop and drop the weapon, but he allegedly refused to comply.
