In partnership with U.S Black Chambers Inc., the Famous Amos Ingredients for Success Entrepreneurship Initiative will present three awards of $50,000 to early-stage black business owners. In addition to the monetary grants, winners will be given access to mentorship services, and network and educational resources. To be eligible, a business must be a minimum of 90% Black-owned, in operation for five years or less, headquartered in the United States, and owned by individuals 21 years or older.
This year’s judging panel is Shawn Amos Entrepreneur, the son of late brand founder, Wally Amos, Steve Canal, the founder of ONE Venture Group, best-selling author, and branding expert, and Brittany Rhodes, the founder of Math Equals Me and previous IFS recipient.
