A Day of Reflection, A Nation Together:
A Message from USBC President & CEO
[Washington, DC] September 11, 2025 — Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, a day etched into the soul of our nation. It was a moment of profound loss for America, but also a moment that revealed the depth of our resilience, faith, and unity in the face of adversity.
On that morning, tragedy touched every community. Yet, as history has shown us time and again, when America grieves, we grieve together—while continuing to stand tall, serve bravely, and contribute tirelessly. We honor the first responders, many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice, who ran toward danger with courage. We remember the families forever changed, and we lift up the generations who carry those memories forward.
September 11 reminds us that in moments of darkness, light shines brightest when we come together. Let us carry that spirit of unity with us today—not just in remembrance, but in our daily commitment to one another. May we never forget, and may we always honor the legacy of those we lost by building a stronger, more united tomorrow.
