What you need to know about the U.S. Senate race in Nevada and other June 14 elections

On Tuesday, Nevada Republicans will pick challengers for two competitive elections they hope to flip from the Democrats in November. For the U.S. Senate, voters will decide who goes up against Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, picking between the Trump-endorsed former state attorney general Adam Laxalt and Army veteran Sam Brown.

For the governor’s office, a crowded field will compete to take on Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak, with Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo considered the front-runner.
