It may hint at something, or not.

In an instant, Donovan Mitchell dissociates himself from the Utah Jazz, removing his connection to the franchise through his account biography across personal social media platforms.

It appears shady that the All-star guard has committed to this action, noting that his inclusion on trade murmurs to the New York Knicks remains lousy as it is.

While the recent rookie extension of RJ Barrett makes the ongoing scenario complicated, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski made it clear that both the Knicks and the Jazz aren’t ruling out a possibility to finally get the deal done, and Barrett may eventually find himself landing in Salt Lake City for the next season as noted by The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

As it stands, Mitchell’s future in Utah remains uncertain as what various reports suggest. Given that the Jazz already transferred Rudy Gobert in a blockbuster haul from the Minnesota Timberwolves and Pat Beverley was eventually shipped to the Los Angeles Lakers, the clock might be just ticking on the side of the 25-year-old to finally find a new home.
