Daniel Kaluuya will voice Spider-Punk in ‘ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE’.

Miles Morales embarks on an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 won’t be WEB-swinging into cinemas for a while yet, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t INFORMATION to get excited about. Sony has revealed that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released on June 2, 2023.

The role Daniel will be playing is Spider-Punk, he’s a fairly recent addition to the Marvel universe, first popping up in the comics in 2015. He was created by Dan Slott and Olivier Coipel, and he’s an alternate version of Hobie Brown. In the original timeline, Hobie becomes the Prowler, but here, he gains spider powers and declares himself Spider-Punk, fighting for freedom and defeating his enemies with the power of punk-rock.

Daniel Kaluuya is an English actor. Prominent both on screen and stage, he has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Laurence Olivier Award.

After the success of the first Into The Spider-Verse movie winning an Oscar for best animation feature. The anticipation for the second film is high. A very strong awards season run for the film, which won the top animated film honor at the Annies, Golden Globes, BAFTA, and Producers Guild Awards. It’s one of the biggest awards to date for a title based on Marvel characters, along with “Big Hero 6,” which also won the animated feature trophy in 2015.
